Jobs: Money, Back-up plans, etc.?

I’m fifteen, and I really want to become a fiction writer (Not right now, but when I grow up). I know it’s going to take a while, and it will be very hard to be a New York Times Bestseller. If my books do become a bestseller, how much money would I make? Would it be enough to make writing my only job? Also, I need a backup plan. But all my dream jobs are… hard to get I think, lol. If I can’t be a writer I want to be: Fashion Designer, Casting Director, Film Editor, Critic, or Website Designer. Are any of the above jobs easy to get? Because I will probably need two jobs if I want to be a writer, so what should my other one be? (It doesn’t have to be the jobs above, please suggest jobs that would be easy to gain success.) Thanks!!!

What is the meaning of your last name/surname?

My surname is Bukowski. I discovered the origins of the name by reading a book by James Michener called “Poland.” Michener was an American historical fiction writer and wrote many novels (maybe some of them are translated into Polish?). Buk is beech tree, so my last name Bukowski, derives from my ancestors living in a location of beech trees. How about your surname…what’s the translation of it?
