I’m sure this isn’t true for all atheists, but is true for a lot of us. My personal story is grew up southern baptist. I went to church every Sunday, revivals and even Sunday school. I’ve even visited my friends Methodist church quiet a few times. I’ve even taken Bibliography classes and exceeded past the kids that where actually religious. At the end of all that I came to the conclusion that faith is simply faith and wishful thinking in a delusional God that can’t prove itself and never proved himself to a soul on Earth accept for some people in an old work of fiction.. A lot of atheists come to that conclusion without ever even stepping foot into a church. So why would you think we’d jump on the God bandwagon just because you’ve been indoctrinated into a belief and expect others to be as gullible in their conclusions that God is hallucination of a vivid imaginaltion.
