Everyone says, “Some day I’m going to write a book,” but few actually do. So congratulations on a noteworthy achievement! Now that you’re holding your book in your hands, after years of research, writing, editing and rewriting, the last words you’ll want to hear are, “That was the easy part.” Well, unfortunately, that was the easy part. Unless you don’t mind your only fans being family and close friends, or unless you’re already a celebrity with a big publishing house behind you, your new challenge will be letting the world know about your book so someone will actually read (a.k.a. buy) what you’ve so laboriously created. And the hard reality is that, in the madness of today’s publishing environment, the onus for successful book promotion lies almost exclusively with the author. Whether you fought your way through to a mainstream channel or decided to self-publish-whether you’ve written a self-help tool or a novel-odds are good that a publicist won’t be calling you tomorrow morning with a jam-packed itinerary of book signings and television interviews. Some of you may have a little help if you’re mainstream, but all of you will carry the lion’s share. So, where do you begin? First of all, your book is no longer “your baby,” but a business-and as with any business, you must have a Marketing Plan. Number One in your plan should be creating a website that will help facilitate everything else we’ll cover in this article. If you already have a website (business or otherwise), add a banner headline announcing publication on your Home page. If you don’t have a website and/or don’t know how to create one, Google how to create a website, and plenty of user-friendly links will come up. The point is that your website should showcase your book as the feature, and you should offer the book for sale right there. Sign up for a Pay Pal account, if you don’t already have one (www.Paypal.com ). This is an easy, affordable way for you to offer buyers a means to pay with a credit card, and that feature alone will help drive more books out the door. Next you’ll need to develop a Sell Sheet consisting of: a) a summary of your book in 50 words or less; b) an author biography in one paragraph; and c) your field of expertise and how that relates to your book (not always relevant with fiction). Then identify your Target Audience-the “who” you had in mind while you were writing. If you’ve written a novel, will interested readers be male or female, young, middle-aged or seniors, action or romance devotees? If your book is non-fiction, are you targeting a certain business or profession? Do you already have a client or seminar base that will be a built-in market? If you don’t have a built-in base, what media outlets (radio, television, print) will help you build one, and which will be relevant and feasible? How do you get to Book Reviewers? (Reviews are golden, even if they’re not glowing-and reviews are mandatory for success. Without them, you don’t get interviews, and the good ones become marketing tools.) Each category and media market, by the way, can be easily researched via the Internet, and each will have to receive a Review Copy of your book. Once your target audience is clear, identify your book’s Position with a single sentence that explains why someone would want to buy your book over others in the same category. This is an extremely important element because, with every Review Copy you send out, you’ll have between 5 and 15 seconds to catch someone’s attention. Finally (and you’ve probably figured this out already), you need to decide how much money you’re able and willing to spend on your book promotion. Guess who buys all those Review Copies, for example? You’ll also need business cards (focused solely on your book), bookmarks, “Just Published” posters, announcement post cards, travel expenses and so forth. But before you send out for oxygen, this new challenge isn’t as daunting as you may think, because the majority of Best-Sellers begin their successes locally. Your first contact won’t be to the New York Times, but rather your local newspaper. Send a copy of your Press Release (similar to your Sell Sheet but a more familiar format to the media). If you Google how to write a press release, you’ll find a wealth of tutorials. Then use a “local author” angle to approach the Manager or Event Coordinator in nearby bookstores (small independent booksellers and big chains like Barnes & Noble), first about scheduling a book signing, and second about stocking your book on their shelves. (The former will be easier than the latter.) Check each store’s Event Calendar and attend several book signings to see how they’re done. When you have a signing scheduled, send invitations! Include everyone you’ve ever known, if you can afford the stamps. Although you’ll want to do a broadcast email to announce your book’s publication, signing events require old-fashioned invitations to bolster turnout. The book store(s) will also do a little advertising (usually very little, i.e., a flyer by the cash register), but your best hope for a large crowd resides in the people you already know. Use your successes with local papers and bookstores to secure interviews with other media outlets. Google to seek out venues in your area such as noon television news broadcasts and radio talk shows that are willing to feature new authors. Remember, every contact you make-through media, bookstores, book reviewers, libraries, everyone-will need to receive a Review Copy of your book. Be sure to write REVIEW COPY in big, black magic marker letters on the inside front cover to minimize bootleg sales of all the books you’re sending out. Distribute widely and generously all of your other promotional materials, as well (Sell Sheets, Press Release, Business Cards…), and never travel without two copies of your book. Take a handful on your vacation. You just never [...]

Robert G Allen and Mark Victor Hansen Review – Cash in a Flash
How would you like to have the ability to make money swiftly in your life, nearly on a whim? Robert G. Allen and Mark Victor Hansen in their latest book explain the secrets in quickly generating abundance wealth in concise terms and have included a 90 day millionaire’s challenge. This book is written in the same left-brain, right-brain style as their earlier book, “The One Minute Millionaire,” and continues the fictional story of Michelle from their earlier book. Both are extremely well know authors. Two earlier books from Robert Allen are “Multiple Streams of Income” and “Multiple Streams of Internet Income” which cover both the real estate and online marketplaces. His first book, “Nothing Down Real Estate” was his biggest seller and started many on the path to real estate riches. Of course, Mark Victor Hansen is well know for the “Chicken Soup” book series, including the best selling non-fiction book of all time, “Chicken Soup for the Soul.” As an aside, I have followed Robert Allen for several years now, as a fellow associate in a leading network marketing company, USANA Health Sciences. His story of how he got involved in network marketing, reluctantly, via his wife’s perseverance is compelling, as is his personal story, which I’ve mostly learned through my personal association with him. Having survived a serious car accident and the loss of his house and fortune in a California mudslide, he attributes his remarkable good fortune in both health and abundance wealth circumstances to his involvement with network marketing, or multi-level marketing (MLM). He often states emphatically that network marketing is the most lucrative venture he has ever participated in, including all the royalties from his publishing. His earlier books have also highlighted the importance of MLM and network marketing for him personally. “Cash in a Flash” is a book with a very big, and seemingly unattainable goal. As in their previous book, they have followed their own advice in creating an “over the top” mental picture. In the “One Minute Millionaire,” for instance, they created a wildly improbable newspaper article about the release of a blockbuster movie based on the book. The headline created was: “The One Minute Millionaire Makes Movie History – #1 Movie in America Completely Sold Out Thirty Days BEFORE it Opens.” After eight years of shopping the movie idea to Hollywood studios, they have finally landed a major movie deal with an award-winning production house. In advertising their current book, they “‘see’ themselves on the cover of Time magazine for having helped get America out of the most crippling ‘repression’ since the Depression of 1929.” After personally “devouring” this book, I can see the rationale for this expectation. The ONLY issue will be getting these concepts widely circulated enough and read by enough folks to make this a reality. Their concepts and plans are certainly well laid and proven to work. The book’s success formula is: Success = a focused mind + a determined heart + a focused, determined team. In order to achieve abundance wealth for yourself in the millionare challenge, you are urged to fomulate a plan based on products, services, and/or information given your own personal knowledge, passions, skills, desires, talents, connections, and prior successes. The object is within 90 days to create a significant income “chunk,” e.g. $100,000. Given existing talents, this should be low-hanging fruit. The tactic isn’t about learning new skills, which could take longer than your 90-day challenge “window.” I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to get started! Wax on, wax off. This is certainly a must read for anyone whether disheartened with their current position and achievements in life or already wildly profitable. And the more that read this advice, the better chance to literally turn the American economy around, which is their “real” goal.
World of Warcraft Cataclysm Alliance Guide
<!– @page { size: 8.5in 11in; margin: 0.79in } P { margin-bottom: 0.08in } –> In the new World of Warcraft expansion, Cataclysm the Alliance side will have many new changes, and a number of adjustments to the current areas players are familiar with. However, not only are we going to see adjustments to the world of Azeroth, we will see many new zones added to the current map. At the moment Blizzard has mentioned one of the new places to be released in Cataclysm will be Death Wing’s Scar; an area near the Alliance city of Stormwind, that was ravaged by the titler Cataclysmic tragedy. In World of Warcraft Cataclysm a number of new class combinations will appear for the Alliance. Cataclysm will see Humans as Hunters, Dwarfs and Night Elfs as Mages, Gnomes as Priests and Dwarfs as Shamans. There are many more class combinations in there such as some interesting choices for the new race of the Worgens. After Death Wing’s sundering of Azeroth, the land of Gilneas was unsealed in the destruction just in time for the arrival of the newest Alliance race. Gilneas is located on the southern peninsula of Silverpine Forrest beyond the ruined Greymane wall. It has a unique theme to it, somewhat reminiscent of the old setting of Transylvania in popular vampire fiction. It looks to host a deep sense of gothic design and interesting stories and lore. With World of Warcraft Cataclysm, the Alliance will be getting a fresh breath of air in some of the older dungeons, such as the Dead Mines receiving a heroic version. As demonstrated in past heroics, it is sure to bring challenges, treasure and increased difficulty. Also, with the worgen starting zone and major city being close to Silverpine Forrest, it should be easier to travel back and forth to the newly created heroic Shadowfang Keep. With World of Warcraft Cataclysm on the Alliance side is shaping up to have a lot to look forward too, some Cataclysm guide for alliance can already by found in community sites and forums. <!– @page { size: 8.5in 11in; margin: 0.79in } P { margin-bottom: 0.08in } –>
The Holy Trinity of Judaism
“The Holy” Trinity: Christianity, Lurianic Kabala and Hasidism – three offspring of the Vatican. The fact that Christianity – is a fictional Vatican religion, designed to subjugate the masses, has long been known. There are many facts proving it, books written, published scholarly works and movies made. This topic we will not discuss. We shall deal with Jewish Christianity, which arose about 500 years ago, and gained momentum, have developed and survived until the present day, misleading many innocent Jews. How it all began. Kabbalah (from “lekabbel” – in Hebrew to take, receive) – is a secret, the semantic part of Judaism. The name indicates that the Kabbalah as a secret doctrine was received by Moses on Mount Sinai as an integral part of the Torah, and passed onto few chosen ones. This knowledge is transmitted only to those who were worthy and able to embrace it, understand the mystical secrets and use them properly. In the Middle Ages, Kabbalah relocated from Babylonia to Spain. After the expulsion of Jews from Spain in 1492, the Kabbalah Centre has moved to Palestine, in Safed, where dwelled within the great group of Kabbalists, the head of which stood one of the greatest Jewish sages of the world Rabbi Moshe Cordovero, RaMaK. Rabbi Moshe Cordovero was an expert in Kabbalah and secrets of the Torah. He arranges a secret doctrine that conceals a great knowledge in his books and unexpectedly dies. Vatican announces the hunt for his works and all his manuscripts disappear. Only few families managed to preserve the manuscripts and only in the late 20th century they begin to emerge into the light. Rabbi Moshe Cordovero died at the age of 48 years, and not his death. From the stories we heard that in the year of his death, there appears certain Isaac Luria Ashkenazi, and opens a “new” trend in the Kabbala, takes for himself students and begins to teach it to them. Also, from the stories, we learn that Isaac Luria was allegedly first disciple of Rabbi Moshe Cordovero, although the first time his theory was published 150 years later in Italy. The new doctrine is fundamentally contradicting the principles of Judaism and the belief in the perfect GOD. Lurianic god is not perfect, he literally “lacks brains”, and the mission to make his brains (Chabad – Chochma, Bina, Daat) allegedly entrusted to the Jews. This new Kabbalah allegedly recorded by his first disciple, Chaim Vital, but none of these manuscripts have not been seen, since Chaim Vital allegedly told not to open them to people. From the stories it also follows that a year later Yitzhak Luria Ashkenazi unexpectedly dies. Chaim Vital writes that his teacher Isaac Luria allegedly received a new Kabbalah from the prophet Elijah, who gave him the new Kabbalah, and that it is the Torah itself. Strangely, is this the way to receive the Torah? Of course not. Torah was taught by GOD to Moses on Mount Sinai, who handed it to his student Yehoshua, he gave it to Jewish elders, and elders to prophets and prophets passed it to men of great assembly. Interestingly, no evidence of the greatness, and knowledge of Yitzhak Luria and his disciple, and even more, there is no recognition in the Jewish world of these individuals because they simply weren’t there. After 150 years, in Europe, someone published his works and backed by stories of his greatness and recognition in the Jewish world at that time. Moreover, they claimed to be even greater than other Jewish sages: Rabbi Yosef Caro, Rabbi Moshe Cordovero, Rabbi Eliyahu Devidash, Rav Mosche Galanti, Rav Moshe Alshikh. About all of these great sages of the Torah in the book “Shabhey haAri” wrote demeaning and derogatory things about our sages and supposedly they didn’t understand the new Kabbalah and, therefore, they weren’t part of it. And about Rabbi Moshe Cordovero work, written that his teachings – classified as supposedly Torat a-Klipot (doctrine of unclean forces), and Lurianic or New Kabala – is supposedly Torat a-Tikkun (correct doctrine). As the proof to the previously mentioned another suspicious book was introduced called “Hiz’yenot of Chaim Vital”, who said that in his neighbor’s dream RaMaK said that everyone in heaven learns Lurianic Kabala, therefore, it is mandatory to teach it to all. However, teachings of RaMaK must be abandoned. Who wrote these stories, why Lurianic books were published 150 years later, and why it is in Italy? Note that unlike other Jewish religious literature that was rigidly stifled by Catholic Church, Lurianic Kabbalah was freely distributed in Europe and without fear of prosecution. Not surprisingly, it will soon reach Palestine, where Jews were mistakenly acknowledged as true teachings of Kabbalah, and begin to develop further with their Jewish brethrens. Christianity in Lurianic teachings. In the 15 century in Europe there is motion, arguing that in essence, the true and hidden meaning of Kabbalah is Christian one. The founder of the Christian Kabbalah has become one of the most interesting representatives of the Renaissance, Pico della Mirandola (1463-1494). Christian Kabbalists saw the revelation of Kabbalah, with which you can learn the secrets of Pythagoras and Plato. Beme was a Christian expert in mysticism and had a unique place in Kabala which prolong until 18th century. After work «De Arte Cabalistica» («On the art of Kabbalah”) in 1517 of the Christian mystic Johann Reuchlin (1455-1522), Pope Leo X recognized the value and usefulness of the Christian Kabbalah. In particular, Reuchlin showed the unity of GOD’s name, a great love for GOD, arguing that it refers to the Messiah – Jesus, which Jews do not recognize as the Messiah. His book became popular within aristocracy and clergy, formed many occult organizations, and practices freely without fear of accusations of witchcraft and heresy. The library’s contemporary Pico della Mirandola, Pope Sixtus IV, had many Kabbalistic works. Lurianic Kabbalah had spread to Poland and became the basis of the origin and formation of Hasidism. Many Christian scholars have been studying the Kabbalah, [...]
The Cold Hard Truth: Why 98% of Internet Marketers Fail Online
Most work-at-home opportunities are known for promising three things: You will make a large amount of money, right now, without any large amount of effort on your part. Here’s what they don’t tell you: you WILL make a large amount of money, but here’s the catch… it does take time and it does take effort, at least in the very beginning. While scam sites do exist, aspiring marketers don’t fail to replace their day jobs because they fell for a con artist: it is far more likely that these would-have-been marketers signed up for a legitimate program but then succumbed to the all-mighty mistake of Internet marketing: The #1 reason 98% of marketers fail to make a decent profit online is that they have NO FOCUS. Marketing, while extremely profitable, is a giant field that is constantly evolving, sometimes on a day-to-day basis. One does not anticipate the number of nuts and bolts that are involved. Let’s take a fictional affiliate marketer, Joe Bob, and use him as an example. Joe signs up for a work-at-home program that will teach him how to make at least $100 a day, starting. The program instructs him to set up a domain and guides him through basics of developing a product. First, Joe must choose a compatible host, a memorable domain name, and set up his website. Joe doesn’t have a clue how to use HTML, so he tries to find a website designer. However, most templates look hokey and unprofessional, so Joe spends a good two hours finding a design that looks decent enough for his website. After much trial and error, Joe creates a product for his website. Joe knows that the main thing he needs to get now is TRAFFIC. However, let’s say Joe does not have a dime to spend on advertising. For this, Joe looks for free traffic. Now Joe is bombarded with safelists, banners, viral marketing, pay-per-click, and – a prime lack of focus – traffic exchanges. Traffic exchange is a simple concept – “I’ll show you mine if you show me yours.” If Joe had been fairly organized from the start, this is where he will fall apart. Traffic exchanges take time, as many require one to stay on the same page for 20 seconds or more. He is now faced with hundreds, if not thousands, of other opportunities that promise traffic or otherwise teach him how to make money. In consequence, he signs up for a multitude of programs that he won’t even remember the names of in hopes to promote his website. He will sign up for a FREE opportunity, only to be faced with a one-time offer that promises the moon for a “small” price. If Joe buys the one-time offer, he now has a bunch of programs that he has no clue how to use. In the meantime, Joe is not getting any worthwhile traffic to his website. Joe’s case is often the most common scenario with marketers who have just started out. Most get frustrated and give up, but the ones who overcome the seeming madness of marketing prosper. Many would-have-been marketers are also bitter about the idea of making loads of money, when in reality they are still stuck in a 9-5 job trying to please a miserable boss and still worrying about the electricity bill. After all, they were told making money would be easy – when it turns out that starting your own business can make your old high school chemistry class seem like a walk in the park. It is nearly impossible to stay focused, so how does one combat this? A simple marketer’s organizer has been proven essential in helping online enterpreneurs succeed. The Internet Marketer’s Compass compiles together a list of your daily tasks, your expenses, your income, your resources and any opportunities you run across that could prove useful later. With this program it is easy to prioritize – would mailing your downline or posting a new resell program be more productive for you right now? Are you spending $15.00 a month to use a certain resource, and does your income outweigh your expense? You can also print the pages you compose and keep them for your personal records. The Internet Marketer’s Compass is free and available for download here: Keeping records and staying organized is vital in guaranteeing an online marketer’s success: while the Internet is a resourceful tool, thousands of new pages are added every day and countless hours can easily be wasted in hopes of finding that “perfect product” that will enhance your business. It is also very easy to empty the wallet on one-time offers that trap you in an ultimatum. While there are many services that can help you out, you MUST keep track of what works and what doesn’t and how much you are spending. The next time you spot a tempting offer, take the time to look at whatever products you already have. The other pitfall of marketers: they spend more time buying products and no time looking at the things they bought. No matter how savvy a program is, computers are only as smart as the users who implement them. Let’s go back to Joe as an example. Joe is now not only looking to build traffic, but after hearing about the countless benefits, Joe now wants an autoresponder, an article submitter, a downline builder, an ebook writer, and one-time offer generator, just to mention a few. Joe sees a bunch of offers that look good, so he signs up and downloads. He’ll open two, maybe three products, get overwhelmed with the setup process and his mental to-do list, then search for more programs. While one might be thinking that Joe is simply a case of someone with major ADD, this is often the rule rather than the exception. Yes, it can be quite overwhelming, this is perfectly understandable in the beginning. However, most programs sit on beginners’ computers, unused and forgotten. The only way to [...]

Paulo Coelho Comments on His New Book the Winner Stands Alone
My comments on the bookFOLLOW MY DREAM – BUT WHICH ONE? One of the recurrent themes of my books is the importance of paying the price of your dreams. But to what extent can our dreams be manipulated? For the past decades, we lived in a culture that privileged fame, money, power – and most of the people were led to believe that these were the real values that we should pursue. We all should be a “winner”. Not in the sense of someone who finally wins what is important to his/her life. Not in the sense that happiness is the most valuable gift on Earth – and it can be attained here and now, when your work fulfills your heart. We should be a winner in the sense that the system portraits a successful person: celebrity, influence, photos in glossy magazines, behaving like the masters of the universe. Yes, you may reach the goal society has fed you – but will you be satisfied? Will you be whole? Will you be in peace? This cycle of possession never ends – because the moment that you think that you have reached your goal another desire creeps in. And how can you find rest when it is the hunt that moves you? While people are connected – omniscient thanks to their mobile phones and GPS – they all speak the same words, fight for the same goals, and crave the same things. How could it be otherwise? If fashion exists it is precisely because you can mold the desire of the masses – or how else could a bag, a dress impose itself as necessary? In a world of invisible yet unsurpassable “diktats”, where a few puppeteers pull the strings of the many, instill in other people’s dreams the pursue of superficial things, there seems to be a rising feeling, a silent despair that creeps in. Greed to have, greed to be seen, greed to prevail, even greed to kill, if you think it is for a good cause – like love, for example. What we don’t know is that, behind the scenes, the real manipulators remain anonymous. They understand that the most effective power is the one that nobody can notice – until it is too late, and you a trapped. This book is about this trap. Soon after I finished writing “The winner stands alone”, the financial market collapsed. Will this lead us again to the real values? I really don’t know. What I do know is that we cannot continue to allow our dreams to be manipulated like they are as for three of the four main characters in the book:Igor, a Russian millionaire, who believes that you can kill if you have a good reason for that – like avoiding human suffering, or bringing back the attention the woman he loves.Hamid, a fashion magnate, who started with good intentions, till he got caught by the very system he was trying to use. Gabriela, who – like most of the people today – is convinced that fame is an end by itself, the supreme reward in a world that praises ccelebrity as the supreme achievement in life. As I finish writing these pages, there are currently several dictators in power. One country in the Middle East has been invaded by the world’s only superpower. Support for terrorist groups is growing. Fundamentalist Christians have the ability to elect presidents. The spiritual search is manipulated by various sects each claiming to possess ‘absolute knowledge’. Whole cities are wiped from the map by Nature’s fury. According to research carried out by a reputable American intellectual, all the world’s power rests in the hands of six thousand people. There are thousands of prisoners of conscience on every continent. Torture is once again deemed acceptable as an interrogation method. The wealthier nations are closing their borders. The poorer nations are witnessing an unprecedented exodus as their inhabitants leave in search of El Dorado. Genocide continues to be committed in at least two African countries. The economic system is showing signs of break-down, and great fortunes are beginning to collapse. Child slavery has become a constant. Hundreds of millions of people live below the poverty line. Nuclear proliferation is accepted as irreversible. New diseases emerge. The old diseases have not yet been brought under control. But is this a portrait of the world I live in?Of course not. When I decided to take a snapshot of my own times, I wrote this book.So please join me in this journey into a world that is coming to an end. You will see glittery, glamour, and blood – but don’t see this book as a thriller: it is a crude portrait of where we are now. We are part of the solution, if we go back to the real values of life, being “follow your dream” the most important of all. Not the dreams of the Superclass. Not the dreams of our parents, or our partners. We should be what we always wanted to be. Release dates: March 19: UK / April: France, Greece, Holland, Russia, USA / May: Australia, Iran
